バンコクを拠点に活動するアーティスト。写真、印刷物、映像制作、ペインティングを組み合わせる作風。倉石一樹と2022年にアート/デザインユニットプロジェクトfAWAを立ち上げた。Brain Dead、The North Face、Vans、LOOSE JOINTS、Carhartt WIPなどにアートワークを提供。

「FLOWERS」というテーマに対し、CLAYは彼が愛する蘭をモチーフに「意識の蘭」という作品を届けてくれた。植物ではなく意識を栽培する——そんな思考実験なのかもしれない。

CLAY ARLINGTON. Artist based in Bangkok. Known for his style combining photography, print, video production, and painting. Co-founded the experimental art/design unit project fAWA with Kazuki Kuraishi in 2022.
In response to the theme "FLOWERS," CLAY delivered a work titled "Orchids of Consciousness," using his beloved orchids as a motif. Cultivating not plants, but consciousness—perhaps a thought experiment of that kind.
