LOOSEJOINTS JOURNAL SS24 ISSUE01
 Loose Joints Journal First Issue
<loosejoints> was born in an era when culture magazines around the world were still vibrant, and is a "creative platform" that keeps analog editing methods in mind. In this era when the meaning of magazines is being questioned, we want to convey the greatness of the works of artists who built the "era of magazines", the fun of making things together, and the joy of owning art. To gently connect cultures by including artists born in the present era. And to create and share the values that magazines have again in the format of a zine. After "GUGGENHEIM", which was launched before COVID-19, and "almanacs", which reported on an era when the world was divided by various hierarchical levels, we decided to relaunch as "loosejoints JOURNAL" with the aim of recording the formation of a new culture that is emerging that transcends borders and generations in a gonzo journalism style.
The theme of the first issue is "Back to Life." Now that we are regaining the physicality that was lost during this season of division that seemed to continue forever, I thought I would reconsider "living." Without intending to, artists have always woven innovative lives like canaries and shaped the lifestyles of the times. What kind of lives do they shape and what are they thinking and outputting as their works in an atmosphere that tends to become more and more conflictual day by day? By reporting on their lives, we would be happy to think together with you about the unique way of "life" that is unique to <loosejoints>, where you feel the warmth of your loved ones and are loosely connected.
