The Kirimoto family has been involved in the work of "tree and lacquer" for over 200 years in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture. The legendary lacquer artist Jinmatsuya, a legendary lacquer artist who also works on the restoration of national treasure-class items, has created. an original spring painting that can only be produced because of its vast archive.
For over 200 years, <Wajima Kirimoto> is made by the Kirimoto family, who have been involved in the work of "wood and lacquer" together with many talented craftsmen in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture. Nakajima Jinmatsuya, a legendary lacquer lacquer maker who has put their trust in and repairs national treasure-class items. This season's <loosejoints> focuses on both of them, who have inherited the Japanese tradition, and turned the shunga drawn on lacquerware by Nakajima Jinmatsuya into pop art and incorporated it into the item as a graphic.
