Tomoo Gokita
Born in Tokyo in 1969. Tomoo Gokita started with illustration, he was influenced by the American subculture and underground of the 1960s and 1970s, and published works inspired by magazines and photographs of the time. He gained attention and enthusiastic support for his drawings in the late 90's. After that, he mainly produced monochrome figures drawn with acrylic gouache on canvas. He has also published his work in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, etc. and has received high praise. " at Dallas Contemporary (2021).In addition, there are many of his publications, including "Shuffle Railroad Song" (2010), "777" (2015), "Holy Cow" (2017), and "PEEKABOO"(2018) .
