AIR GARMENTS BY RYOHEI KAWANISHI

Through AIR GARMENTS, Kawanishi's unique interpretation of contemporary social issues, the SDGs , and the language of sustainability, which have come to be frequently used in the fashion industry, are expressed. Ryohei Kawanishi

Representative of LES SIX Co., Ltd. Former LANDLORD Creative Director (2015-2020) . Former professor at Parsons School of Design . Born in Tottori prefecture in 1987 . In 2006 , moved to England. BA from Central Saint Martins, London, 2011 . Moved to New York in 2013 . Enrolled at Parsons MFA Fashion Design & Society through the Uniqlo “ Tomodachi-Uniqlo ” fellowship and received a master’s degree in 2015 . He also teaches at the same school. In the same year, he established Landlord and assumed the position of creative director. Participated in the New York Collection on an official schedule from 2017, presenting twice a year. Tomoo Gokita

Born in Tokyo in 1969. Tomoo Gokita started with illustration, he was influenced by the American subculture and underground of the 1960s and 1970s, and published works inspired by magazines and photographs of the time.
He gained attention and enthusiastic support for his drawings in the late 90's.After that, he mainly produced monochrome figures drawn with acrylic gouache on canvas.He has also published his work in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, etc. and has received high In addition, there are many of his publications, including "Shuffle Railroad Song" (2010), "777" (2015), "Holy Cow" (2017), and "PEEKABOO"(2018).
